Asus introduced the W90, announced as the ultimate multimedia notebook.

This notebook  incorporates an Intel Core 2 Duo T9600, T9400, P8600 or P8400 and up to 6 GB of RAM type DDR2 800 MHz, all based on an Intel X38 platform.

It manages the ATI CrossFireX, operated by an ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4870 or HD 3850 to choose from, supported by 1024MB of GDDR3 memory. It is also possible to include a NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GS, also assisted by 1024 MB of GDDR3. This section presents a graphic display of 17 or 18.4 inches.

Multimedia is supplemented by five Altec Lansing speakers, including a subwoofer, all running the second generation Dolby Home Theater.

Asus W90

Storage is provided by two disks of the same size, at 250, 320 or 500 GB, and a combo bluray dvd. It also includes a memory card reader 8 in 1.

Later communication: Draft N WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 10/100/1000 Ethernet and a 56K modem. In short, it lacks nothing.

Finally, the outputs provided by this machine are composed of an HDMI, eSATA ports and four USB2.0.

A complete and powerful machine in short, that it lacks a price and release date.
